For guest ticket pickup dates and times click here.
Fall 2009 Convocation ceremonies will be held in Convocation Hall from November 9 - 13, 2009. Please note that the deadline to request name changes/corrections for the November 2009 Convocation period is September 29, 2009.
Attending the convocation ceremony is a simple two step process. After confirming the time and date of your convocation ceremony (you must attend the ceremony specified for your degree) you will need to arrange for Gown and Hood Rental (please take note of the confirmation number). You can arrange for your gown and hood rental between October 13th and October 30th. RSVP and guest ticket orders are the second step in the process (an online RSVP and Guest Ticket Request form will be available through the Student Web Service (ROSI) as of October 19th at 10:00 a.m.). The RSVP and Guest Ticket Request form will close on October 30th at 6:00 p.m. Please visit the Preparing for Graduation portion of our website to ensure that you have completed all of the steps necessary for a successful ceremony.
Note: you will require an active ROSI pin number to access the online RSVP.
Influenza and H1N1
In view of the arrival of the influenza season, and in particular concerns about H1N1, there will be a number of hand sanitizing stations available for the use of graduates and guests at Convocation. This helps reduce the spread of germs.
It is strongly recommended that anyone experiencing the signs and symptoms of H1N1 such as: fever and cough and one or more of sore throat, muscle aches , joint pain or weakness NOT ATTEND CONVOCATION.
Convocation can be viewed on-line at: www.convocation.utoronto.ca.
For more information about the H1N1 influenza, please visit the The Public Health Agency of Canada site at www.fightflu.ca. To view current UofT-related information on pandemic influenza planning, see www.preparedness.utoronto.ca/pandemic.htm.
