Amy Mullin

Since graduating from Harvard and Yale, Amy Mullin has spent her academic career at the University of Toronto Mississauga as Department Chair, Vice Principal Academic and Dean, and Professor of Philosophy. Her research and teaching interests are in bioethics, the philosophy of art, and social philosophy, with a focus on the moral responsibilities of people receiving or providing care. She is the author of Reconceiving Pregnancy and Childcare: Ethics, Experience and Reproductive Labor, and numerous philosophical articles. She is also the proud parent of two University of Toronto students, including one studying at the University of Toronto Mississauga, and expects a third child to join the University next fall.
